She studied at Parque Lage and in courses in philosophy and art history. Her work begins from a simple material — the lycra used in garment making — tensioned, displaced and twisted over the stretcher until it generates graphic patterns and optical effects.
The fabric also passes through sublimation, screen printing, cut film and stencil. The works tend towards installation: they speak to their support and to the place they are in, more than to the frame.
